The Hollywood Reporter

I was recently hired by The Hollywood Reporter to illustrate producer and cofounder of Miramax Harvey Weinstein, The story was about his short hiatus and how he's returning very strong with some oscar contenders.

City Paper - Barry Levinson

Nashville Scene

Here's a cover I created for their "Boners of the Year" issue spotlighting Nashville's worst blunderers. I also illustrated 4 spots of some of the biggest "boners" :)

Political Series

Here's the start of a series of presidential candidates. I don't support any of the Republican candidates but they sure are fun to draw! Here's Ron Paul, possibly the one I find least objectionable.

New work...much much more to come soon!

Death Cab For Cutie - Screen Printed posters and shirts

Here's the poster I designed for Death Cab's upcoming tour. It will also be used on shirts and below are baseball cards that will be available at their concerts. I was approached with this project after they played in Philly and saw the card I designed for that specific show. Thanks to Joe at Zeitgeist for being great to work with and Ben for liking the original card enough to want me to reproduce a bigger version!

Mann Center Baseball Cards

I recently completed a fun job for AEG Live and The Mann Center in Philadelphia, PA. Jon Hampton from AEG Live came up with an idea to have me illustrate and design the fronts and backs of baseball cards to be distributed as free gifts to the fans at each concert. Each card was a tribute to popular baseball cards from the past and each back contains a blurb and cartoon about the musician. I seriously got to draw some of my favorite musicians. It also led to a job designing a tour poster for Death Cab for Cutie that I will post shortly. There are 18 cards total and at least 6,000 were distributed at each concert. Thanks again to Jon and Jen at AEG for another fun and crazy busy summer.

Book Fest Drawings

Thanks to everyone who came out over the weekend to support "Hairy Baltimore" the book I curated with Jim Lucio and contributed art to. It was really well received and all the illustrators did great work! Here are 2 drawings I did at our table during the fest to demonstrate how I draw and ink hair.

Washington Post Express - Summer Festivals

Thanks to Art Director Adam Griffiths for another fun assignment. The idea was to create a super concert of various acts preforming at 3 major music festivals coming up. I was given a list of all the acts with the headliners highlighted and I could choose the additional acts. Below is a key I made to identifying each person on stage. This one took a little while and i'm not used to drawing this small but it was fun from beginning to end.
