Portraits of Sheila Dixon Show
This one is for an art show at Joe Squared here in Baltimore to pay homage to our disgraced mayor. It's my understanding that we are not to pass too much judgement in the art so this is a pretty tame yet somber mayor.

We Play for Delicious Delicious Pie
Children of Haiti
I just drew this for Jonathan at Phawker.com. I started sketching while watching the news a few days ago. The number of newly orphaned children really hit me as hard as the number of casualties due to the quake. It's impossible for me to capture the horrors of what's going on in Haiti right now but I hope this will still serve as a good accompaniment to an editorial piece. I also want to give credit to AP photographer Francois Mori for a photo he took of a destroyed church that I based the church in the background on. I wanted to include a church to discredit the myth that the earthquake was due to a curse from God. I'm not religious but what god would do this, especially to his followers and places of worship.
If you would like to donate to a Haiti relief fund please see the links below.

The poster that keeps giving
A very nice promoter in Melbourne, Australia asked if she could use this illustration to promote an acoustic set he's doing at the Speakeasy Cinema before showing the movie, the Devil and Daniel Johnston. Also, stay tuned for a lot of work I will be posting later this week. Lot's of cool stuff is coming....I promise!

My New Band Designs
These are 2 ideas for logo/shirt designs for my new band Young Jaguars. I can't decide on which to use. We play all instrumentals in the Link Wray style. My friend Curt plays bass in the band and we're playing a bunch of songs we used to play in our old psychobilly band The Alphabet Bombers. Here's a video that band made years ago when my hair was bigger and greasier.
